A note from Mrs. Stacy...
Welcome to fifth grade at Atoka Elementary School! I am beginning my thirteenth year in teaching. My first year of teaching was in fourth grade at Munford Elementary School. I taught fourth grade at Atoka Elementary School for eight years. I decided to make the exciting change and move to fifth grade three years ago! I will be teaching your child Math and Science. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Christian Brothers University in 2006 and my Master's Degree from Arkansas State University in 2010.
I have been married to Phillip for 25 years and have a daughter and a son. Emily is 22 and will graduate in December from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) with a focus on Animal Science. Eric is 20 and completed his certification in Welding Technology at Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT). He is building structures for a steel company. We have two dogs, Max and Rylee. I love spending time with my family and taking mini-vacations--I love venturing on cruises the most--and I love to eat (I don't have a big menu for meals at home)!
I love teaching; but, most of all, I enjoy watching my students grow and learn! I set high expectations for myself, and this carries over into my teaching when setting goals and expectations for my students.
I am ecstatic to begin our school year together! As this school year progresses, I am looking forward to new beginnings!!!
